Majeure Policy
Because Homecoming is an intimate, carefully curated experience that requires advance commitments to lodging, facilitators, and vendors, the following policy exists to protect both the integrity of the retreat and the care of every participant.
Deposit & Reservation of Space
To secure your spot at the Homecoming Retreat, a non-transferable deposit is required at the time of registration. Your space is not considered reserved until the deposit has been received and processed.
72-Hour Review Period
After submitting your deposit, you will have seventy-two (72) hours to review your commitment.
If you choose to cancel within this 72-hour window, you may request a full refund of your deposit, minus any non-refundable processing or transaction fees. This review period exists to allow you to move forward with clarity and confidence.
After 72 Hours
Once the 72-hour review period has passed, the deposit becomes non-refundable and non-transferable, as your space is officially reserved and retreat planning, accommodations, and vendor commitments are allocated specifically for you.
Final Payments
All remaining balances are non-refundable, regardless of attendance, illness, travel disruptions, personal circumstances, or scheduling conflicts, except in the unlikely event that the retreat is canceled by the organizer.
Force Majeure
In rare and unforeseen circumstances beyond our control—such as natural disasters, public health emergencies, government restrictions, or other events that make it unsafe or impossible to hold the retreat as planned—the Homecoming Retreat may need to be postponed or rescheduled.
If this occurs, our priority will always be the safety, well-being, and care of our community. While cash refunds cannot be guaranteed under Force Majeure circumstances, all payments made (including deposits) will be honored as a credit toward a future Homecoming retreat or qualifying offering.
Our intention is never to inconvenience or disadvantage participants, but to steward this experience with integrity, sustainability, and care for everyone involved.

By registering for the Homecoming Retreat, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Deposit, Refund, and Force Majeure Policy in full.

1. Do I have to be a Back to You alum to attend?
Not at all. Back to You alumni will find Homecoming to be a beautiful continuation of their journey, while new participants will experience a powerful introduction to the Mosaic Refinery approach to healing and wholeness.

3. Are payment plans available?
Yes — flexible 2- or 3-month payment plans are available at checkout.
4. What’s the refund policy?
Due to the intimate nature of this retreat, payments are non-refundable but transferable to another attendee or future Mosaic Refinery event.
5. Why is there a deposit?
The deposit secures your space in an intentionally small and intimate retreat. Once you register, we begin allocating accommodations, materials, and resources specifically for you. The deposit ensures mutual commitment and allows us to plan responsibly.
6. What if I change my mind after signing up?
You have 72 hours after submitting your deposit to reconsider your decision. If you cancel within that window, your deposit will be refunded (minus processing fees). This review period is designed to give you space to commit with clarity.
7. What happens if something comes up and I can’t attend?
Because retreat logistics and expenses are committed in advance, deposits and payments are non-refundable after the 72-hour review period. We encourage you to register only when you feel confident in your availability and readiness.
8. What if the retreat has to be postponed or canceled?
In the rare event that circumstances beyond our control require us to postpone or reschedule the retreat, your investment will be fully honored as a credit toward a future Homecoming retreat or qualifying offering. Your safety and care will always guide our decisions.
9. Have you ever had to invoke the Force Majeure policy before?
No. This policy exists as a responsible safeguard, not because we anticipate disruptions. It allows us to lead with integrity and preparedness should the unexpected occur.
10. Why don’t you offer full refunds after the 72-hour window?
Homecoming is not a mass event—it’s a deeply curated experience. Once planning begins, costs are incurred that cannot be recovered. This policy allows us to sustain the retreat while continuing to offer a high-touch, high-care experience for every participant.
